Container Home Office

Insulated, lined and wired container offices, canteens and anti-vandal units, working the day they land.

A container office arrives finished. Insulation, lining, flooring, lighting, sockets and a consumer unit are already in, so the unit needs a power connection and nothing else.

Sizes run from a 9ft with a window and a side door up to a 40ft partitioned into office, canteen and toilet. Anti-vandal versions add steel shutters and a security door for sites left empty at weekends.

Specification to check

Ask what the insulation is and how thick. Ask whether the electrics are certified and what the consumer unit rating is. Ask whether the windows are double glazed. These are the differences between a unit that is comfortable in February and one that is not.

Height

Lining and flooring take three to four inches out of the internal height. A standard container ends up around 7ft 6in inside, which is fine. A high cube ends up around 8ft 6in, which is noticeably more pleasant to work in all day.

Connection

We deliver and place the unit. The final connection to your supply is a job for a qualified electrician, and any building control or workplace requirements for the site are yours to satisfy.
