Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: August 22, 2026

Welcome to Steel Forge Containers. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of steelforgecontainers.com, including the purchase of shipping containers, storage containers, related products, transportation services, and other services offered by Steel Forge Containers.

By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, placing an order, or purchasing a product or service from us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About Steel Forge Containers

Steel Forge Containers is a supplier of shipping containers, storage containers, and related container products and services. We serve customers in different locations and may arrange transportation, delivery, collection, or other logistics services depending on the customer's order and destination.

For legal and commercial purposes, the business information provided on our website, invoices, quotations, and order documentation forms part of the transaction between Steel Forge Containers and the customer.

Customers should ensure that the business name, contact information, delivery information, and other details provided during an order are accurate and complete.

2. Website Use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for fraudulent, unlawful, or unauthorized purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our website, systems, databases, or accounts.
  • Interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the website.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit website content without authorization.
  • Use automated systems to collect information from the website in a manner that violates applicable laws or these Terms.

3. Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, dimensions, availability information, and other product details displayed on our website are accurate and up to date.

However, shipping containers are manufactured, used, refurbished, modified, transported, and stored under different conditions. Actual products may have reasonable variations in color, markings, dimensions, appearance, condition, or other characteristics.

Photographs displayed on the website may be representative images and may not always depict the exact container supplied to the customer unless expressly stated otherwise.

Where the condition or specifications of a particular container are important to a customer's purchase decision, the customer should request confirmation from Steel Forge Containers before placing the order.

4. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Displaying a product on our website does not necessarily guarantee that the exact product, quantity, condition, or specification shown will remain available at the time an order is placed.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been submitted, we may contact the customer to discuss an alternative product, revised delivery arrangement, or applicable refund.

5. Prices and Quotations

Product prices displayed on the website are subject to change without prior notice.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, displayed prices may not include transportation, delivery, installation, customs duties, taxes, port charges, storage charges, inspection charges, or other costs associated with fulfilling an order.

Where additional costs apply, they will be communicated to the customer before the order is finalized where reasonably possible.

A quotation issued by Steel Forge Containers may specify the product price, quantity, condition, delivery location, transportation costs, applicable taxes, payment terms, validity period, and other conditions.

Unless otherwise stated in writing, quotations may expire after the period specified in the quotation.

6. Orders and Order Acceptance

Submitting an order, inquiry, quotation request, or payment does not automatically constitute acceptance of the order by Steel Forge Containers.

An order becomes confirmed when Steel Forge Containers has accepted the order and the applicable payment or deposit requirements have been satisfied.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where:

  • The requested product is unavailable.
  • Product information or pricing contained an obvious error.
  • Payment cannot be verified.
  • Fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected.
  • The customer has provided materially inaccurate information.
  • We are unable to deliver the product to the requested destination.
  • Other circumstances prevent us from reasonably fulfilling the order.

7. Payment

Customers must pay for their orders using one of the payment methods made available by Steel Forge Containers.

Depending on the product and order, we may require full payment, a deposit, advance payment, or another payment arrangement agreed in writing.

Payment information must be accurate and must belong to the customer or be used with the authorization of the payment account holder.

Steel Forge Containers reserves the right to verify payments before releasing goods for collection or delivery.

Additional information about payments and refunds is provided in our Payment and Refund Policy.

8. Deposits and Special Orders

Certain orders may require a deposit or advance payment, particularly orders involving special specifications, customization, transportation arrangements, large quantities, or other costs incurred specifically for the customer.

Once work, procurement, preparation, customization, transportation arrangements, or other fulfillment activities have commenced, the applicable deposit may become non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The specific deposit and cancellation terms applicable to an order may be stated in the customer's quotation, invoice, or order confirmation.

9. Delivery and Transportation

Delivery arrangements depend on the customer's location, product availability, transportation requirements, access conditions, and the delivery method agreed between the parties.

Estimated delivery dates and transit times are provided in good faith and are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing.

Delivery may be affected by factors outside our reasonable control, including transportation delays, weather conditions, port congestion, customs procedures, road restrictions, carrier delays, mechanical problems, strikes, governmental restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and ensuring that the delivery location is reasonably accessible for the selected transportation equipment.

10. Delivery Site Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery site is suitable and accessible for the delivery and placement of the container.

This may include ensuring sufficient access width, road clearance, ground stability, turning space, overhead clearance, and any necessary permissions or arrangements required for delivery.

Additional costs resulting from inaccessible delivery locations, failed delivery attempts, waiting time, special equipment, route restrictions, storage, or changes requested by the customer may be charged to the customer where applicable.

11. Inspection Upon Delivery

Customers should inspect their container as soon as reasonably possible following delivery or collection.

If the customer believes that the product is materially damaged, incorrect, or does not correspond with the agreed order, the customer should notify Steel Forge Containers promptly and provide supporting photographs, videos, delivery documents, or other relevant evidence where requested.

Failure to report an issue within a reasonable period may affect our ability to investigate or resolve the matter, particularly where the condition of the product may have changed after delivery.

12. Used and Refurbished Containers

Used and refurbished containers may show signs of previous use, including surface wear, dents, scratches, rust, fading, repairs, markings, flooring wear, or other cosmetic imperfections.

Unless a particular condition or specification has been expressly guaranteed in writing, such characteristics do not necessarily constitute defects.

Customers purchasing used or refurbished containers should carefully review the product description and any available condition information before completing their purchase.

13. Container Modifications and Customization

Where containers are modified or customized at the customer's request, specifications must be approved before work begins.

Custom work may include, depending on the order, doors, windows, ventilation, electrical installations, painting, flooring, partitions, openings, security features, or other modifications.

Once customized work has commenced, cancellation or modification may result in additional costs and may affect the availability of a refund.

14. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing accurate information necessary to process and fulfill an order.

This includes, where applicable:

  • Correct name and contact information.
  • Correct billing information.
  • Correct delivery address.
  • Accurate container specifications and requirements.
  • Any access or site information required for delivery.
  • Any permits, approvals, or permissions required for the customer's intended use of the container.

15. Intended Use and Legal Compliance

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the purchased container is suitable for the customer's intended use and complies with applicable local laws, building regulations, zoning requirements, transportation regulations, permits, and other requirements applicable at the customer's location.

Steel Forge Containers does not guarantee that a particular container may legally be used for a specific purpose or at a specific location unless such suitability has been expressly confirmed in writing.

16. Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

Returns, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Payment and Refund Policy.

Customers should review that policy before placing an order.

Refund eligibility may depend on the product, order status, customization, transportation arrangements, costs already incurred, and applicable law.

17. Taxes, Duties and Customs

Depending on the customer's location and the nature of the transaction, additional taxes, customs duties, import charges, port fees, clearance charges, or other governmental fees may apply.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in the customer's quotation or invoice, the customer is responsible for charges that are legally payable by the customer in connection with importing, receiving, transporting, or using the product in the destination country or jurisdiction.

18. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including text, logos, graphics, photographs, product descriptions, page layouts, trademarks, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to Steel Forge Containers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, payment providers, logistics providers, social media platforms, or other external services.

These third-party services operate independently and may have their own terms, privacy policies, and conditions.

20. Website Availability

We may temporarily suspend, modify, update, or discontinue parts of the website for maintenance, security, technical improvements, or other operational reasons.

21. Accuracy of Information

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate information on our website. However, errors may occasionally occur, including errors relating to product descriptions, availability, pricing, specifications, or delivery information.

Where an obvious error is identified, we reserve the right to correct the information and, where appropriate, contact affected customers before completing or continuing an order.

22. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Steel Forge Containers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or unforeseeable losses arising from the use of our website, delay in delivery, loss of business, loss of profits, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

23. Force Majeure

Steel Forge Containers shall not be responsible for failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, war, civil unrest, governmental restrictions, strikes, labor disputes, transportation interruptions, port congestion, customs delays, supply-chain disruptions, epidemics, pandemics, cyber incidents, infrastructure failures, or other events beyond our reasonable control.

24. Fraud and Unauthorized Transactions

We reserve the right to investigate transactions that appear fraudulent, unauthorized, suspicious, or inconsistent with normal purchasing activity.

We may request additional information or verification before accepting or fulfilling an order.

Orders associated with fraudulent or unauthorized activity may be cancelled where appropriate.

25. Privacy

Personal information submitted through our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using our website and submitting information to us, you acknowledge that your information may be processed for purposes including order processing, payment verification, customer support, delivery coordination, fraud prevention, and compliance with applicable legal requirements.

26. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to Steel Forge Containers and the jurisdiction identified in the company's official legal and business information.

Where permitted by applicable law, disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions or from a transaction with Steel Forge Containers shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in the applicable jurisdiction.

27. Dispute Resolution

We encourage customers to contact us first regarding any complaint, payment dispute, delivery issue, product issue, or other concern.

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve legitimate disputes promptly and professionally.

Nothing in this section prevents a customer from exercising any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.

The updated version will be published on this page and will include a revised "Last Updated" date.

29. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where permitted by law.

The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

30. Entire Agreement
