2,000 Gallon Propane Tank

A 2,000 gallon horizontal carbon steel ASME propane vessel designed for 250 psig. Water capacity is 2,000 gallons and a full fill is 1,600 gallons of propane.

Twenty feet and well over two tons empty puts this beyond the reach of a pickup and a couple of people. Confirm that a lorry with a crane can reach the position and that the ground will take the load before you order. Site access is the usual reason a tank this size arrives and cannot be placed.

Typical uses are bulk commercial supply, agriculture, crop drying and metered propane systems. At this capacity the separation distances in NFPA 58 are wider again, and on a commercial site they often decide where the tank goes before anything else does.

Half the capacity is the 1,000 gallon tank. Well beyond it, the 18,000 gallon skid tanks move into industrial bulk storage. Delivery and placement are quoted by site.
