Description
This 53-foot high cube shipping container provides approximately 430 square feet of enclosed space with additional interior height compared to standard containers. The unit meets cargo-worthy standards for freight transport, storage, and warehousing applications. Construction consists of COR-TEN weathering steel.
The high cube configuration offers approximately one foot of additional vertical interior space. Double doors at one end open to the full width of the container for loading access. Vents are integrated into the container design to allow airflow throughout the interior space. The marine-grade plywood floor provides a surface elevated above ground level. Corner castings at each corner allow for lifting and transport by qualified equipment operators.

Dimensions and capacity

Internal dimensions are approximately 52 ft 5 in × 8 ft 2 in × 8 ft 11 in (15,976 × 2,489 × 2,718 mm), giving 3,857 cu ft (109.2 m³) of usable space, with double doors at one end. These are the standard figures for a 53ft high cube container; exact internals vary slightly by manufacturer.

A high cube adds a foot of interior height over a standard container, which matters for stacked pallets, machinery on wheels, or any conversion where headroom decides the build.

Condition

This is a used container that has been in service. It is wind and watertight — no holes, working door seals, an intact roof — but it shows its history: surface rust, dents and previous owner markings are normal and do not affect how it performs.

What it is good for

This unit is commonly used for extra headroom for tall loads and conversions. Doors, windows, insulation, electrics and paint can all be added before it ships — it is cheaper and neater to specify a conversion while the container is still in our yard than to modify it on your site afterwards.

Delivery

Delivery is quoted against your site access rather than published as a flat rate, because haulage for a container depends on the distance, the approach and whether a crane is needed. Most deliveries use a tilt-bed truck, which needs a clear and reasonably level run about twice the container length. We price it before you commit.
